The MedTechLab®, an integral part of the FutureMedicine platform, is one of the concrete results of the collaboration between AÉSIO Mutuelle, AÉSIO Santé and the Ecole des Mines de Saint-Etienne in the field of healthcare engineering. Since January 2024, the MedTechLab ® has been a Tiers Lieu d'Expérimentation (TLE) and is part of the national “Santé numérique” acceleration strategy of the France 2030 plan. Based on the participation of healthcare professionals from mutualist establishments, it is open to researchers, engineers, hospital healthcare professionals, mutualists, freelancers, users and patients, companies and start-ups, etc., to think about, test and experiment with new technologies applied to healthcare and autonomy. The MedTechLab ® is a space reproducing the intelligent apartment of the frail person, incorporating innovative furnishings such as an intelligent bed or a set of movement sensors.
